System Selection: Open vs. Closed Circuit
Open circuit solutions are widely used due to high heat transfer and broad capacity range. Closed circuit solutions are preferred when process fluid cleanliness is critical, cooling the process water through coils and reducing contamination risks.

Performance Engineering
